マヴィ株式会社代表田村安の創立22周年メッセージ

1998年3月3日、マヴィは日本初のオーガニックワイン専門インポーターとして創業、本日22周年を迎えることができました。支えていただいた多くのみなさまに感謝申し上げます。

パイオニアスピリッツだけを掲げて突き進んできた22年間、ワクワクすること、落とし穴にはまることの繰り返し。勲章はもらいましたが、貯金は何度も底をつき、よく潰れなかったとハラハラドキドキの毎日でした。そろそろ落ち着けるかと思ったところ、未知の新型コロナウィルスの襲来！またもやピンチです。イベントは全て中止し、オーガニックワイン専門店マヴィの赤坂本店も事務所も閉めて厄災の過ぎるのを待つ境地への葛藤は2/20のブログに書いた通りです。そんな状況で22周年を迎えました。

今回はマヴィだけのピンチではなく、日本全体、いや世界全体の危機です。そこでマヴィの生産者さんたちと語り合わなければと思い、僕の選択を伝えるメールを昨夜送ったところ、たくさんの仲間からの温かいメッセージが届きました。

Nous recevons ton message et nous partageons tes inquiétudes, mais sur notre continent les mesures ne sont pas aussi strictes, malgré l’épidémie qui nous touche aussi.
Nous espérons tous que cet épisode d’épidémie sera de courte durée, et que les conséquences autres seront modérées. Nos pays sont maintenant très dépendants les uns des autres et nous entrons dans des zones inconnues.
Nous espérons pour l’humanité une solution rapide avec le moins de retombées possibles, et beaucoup de volonté pour passer ce cap.

マヴィをやっていて、オーガニックという選択をしてたくさんの人に出会えて、本当によかったと思います。

オーガニック生産者は常に自然に寄り添っています。いい時ばかりではありません。災害と呼べるレベルの試練に何度も遭い、耐える術をみんな身に着けています。生産量ゼロの年だってあります。そんな時は過ぎるのを待つしかない。

マヴィを支えてくださるみなさんにお願いします。
こんな危機状況ですが、いつかは過ぎます。それまで我慢して耐えて、一緒に待ちましょう。
そして感染終息を、美味しいオーガニックワインで乾杯しましょう。

そして来年の23周年はもっといい気分で祝えますように！
